Barry Allen may be the fastest man alive, but he can't be everywhere at all times. When Flash learns that his young sidekick Wally West has unknowingly taken on a solo crime-fighting venture, he takes a drastic step: He will take a break from training Wally until he learns how to be responsible.

When Wally learns of a strange shadow entity roaming the heart of Central City, he decides to investigate the matter himself and prove to Flash how skilled he is.
