On the Essence of Philosophy

This book was written by Ünal Kutlu at the age of nineteen, at a time when his only friends were dead philosophers. In addition, the reason for publishing this book years later is to commemorate his sister Gülümser Güven, whom he lost in the earthquake centered in Maraş in Hatay, his nephews Şahin Ata Güven and Masal Ada Güven, and his brother-in-law İnan Güven.

On the Neliği of Philosophy is an introductory book written as a result of extensive readings, centered on the concept of philosophy. In this book, philosophy is examined as a concept first. Then, philosophical methods, why philosophers cannot agree on concepts, scientists' approach to philosophy, the importance and scope of philosophy, the relationship between human nature and philosophy, the place of philosophy in society and the individual, and the consistency of philosophers are examined.
