Anastasia Allen's only dream since she was little was to make the United States Olympic team.
When she received a full scholarship to the University of California, Maple Hills and was selected for the competitive figure skating team in the pairs category, everything was going according to plan.
Nothing could get in her way; not even the hockey team and Captain Nate Hawkins, who had ruined all her agenda plans.
Nate wanted to fulfill his duty as captain during his last year of school and focus on his team's success on the ice. However, a slight setback occurred due to the hockey team at one of the university's two ice rinks. So when he had to share the same rink with the figure skating team, including Anastasia, who clearly couldn't stand him, focusing on his duty wouldn't be easy.
However, an unfortunate event that happened to Anastasia's partner left her with only one chance to prepare for the tournament: Nate Hawkins, whom she disliked and avoided at every turn.
