In the spring of 2024, the X MagicBook line has become even more affordable, especially in the basic version. You can now purchase a model without Windows pre-installed, which can save you thousands, especially if you plan to use a different operating system or have a Windows activation key.

Despite the basic level, the MagicBook X 16 does not compromise on performance. It's powered by an Intel Core i5-12450H processor, a fast 512GB SSD, supports Wi-Fi 6, and has all the necessary ports, including HDMI for connecting to an external monitor.

The Pro models in the MagicBook X line are more advanced options. They are distinguished by increased battery capacity by one and a half times, the presence of a next-generation Intel Core i5-13420H processor and a fingerprint scanner in the power button. An additional advantage is the presence of a slot for installing a second solid-state drive.

The only difference between the MagicBook X 14 Pro and X 16 Pro is the screen size (14 or 16 inches) and weight (1.4 kg or 1.75 kg). Otherwise, they are equivalent, so when choosing, you can focus solely on the use case, without the risk of missing out on any technical features of the more compact model.

All MagicBook X models are characterized by a practical and stylish metal case, as well as support for fast charging: the battery is charged by about half in half an hour.

In general, there are three models for different budgets. Those who are willing to spend more are advised to pay attention to configurations with 16 GB of RAM. The processor in all three models is good, but lack of memory can become an issue after a while. If every ruble matters, then the option of buying a laptop without a pre-installed operating system (more precisely, with DOS) can be useful.
