Will the AndaSeat Luna gaming chair that came to us for testing provide the proper comfort and how is it configured? Let's check and draw conclusions.

Equipment
The chair is delivered unassembled. The large cardboard box contains minimal information: the manufacturer’s logo, transportation data and a QR code leading to the manufacturer’s website.
The serial number, model name and manufacturer's information can be found on the stickers on the sides.
Opening the box, we found the components of the chair carefully packed in soft materials, plastic and bubble wrap. The kit also included assembly instructions, a bag of bolts, and an L-shaped hex key.
At first sight
The back and seat of this model are covered in practical black DuraXtra PVC leather. This material is already familiar to us: we saw it on the AndaSeat Kaiser 3, which we recently reviewed.
The back of the chair is decorated with red decorative inserts and embroidered manufacturer logos. Lateral support is pronounced, and the headrest almost merges with the main surface.
The machine embroidery of the logos was done carefully and accurately: we did not see any protruding threads or skipped stitches.
The soft elements are filled with molded Re-Dense foam with a density of 55 kg/m³ with memory effect. The side elements of the seat seemed a little softer to us than the flat central part.
The frame to which the swing mechanism and armrests are attached is made of thick steel — this is the heaviest part of the structure. The non-removable upholstery is attached to it on metal rings.
The AndaSeat Luna's plastic armrests are height adjustable. The oval holes through which the metal base is attached to the seat allow you to slightly (about 30 mm on each side) adjust the width of this part of the structure.
On the five-pointed crosspiece made of durable nylon with a plastic coating, we see plastic decorative overlays.
The crosspiece is supported by five double 60mm polyurethane-coated rollers.
The linings covering the fastenings of the backrest to the seat and the telescopic gas lift casing are made of matte black plastic.
The design uses a metal gas lift of the fourth (highest) class with SGS certification.
The AndaSeat Luna chair is equipped with a simple TopGun type mechanism. A single side lever controls the gas lift lift height and swing lock. The rigidity of the mechanism is adjusted by rotating the spring-loaded cylindrical handle.
The chair set includes two soft pillows. One is attached to the headrest using a belt with a self-resetting buckle, and the other is designed for the lower back and is installed on the back without fixing. Although the lumbar cushion is not secured, it stays in place thanks to the lateral support, as it fits perfectly to the back of the chair and does not move.
The removable black velvety covers are zippered, making them easy to remove for cleaning and then put on again.
Let's start assembling. The mounting kit includes an L-shaped hex key suitable for both types of screws used in the design. However, it is much more convenient to use a screwdriver with the appropriate bits, which will significantly speed up the assembly process.
First. What should be done is to install the rollers into the holes of the cross. This procedure requires some effort: the spring washers on the wheel rods fit into the seats with difficulty.
After the rollers take their places, you should insert the gas lift cartridge into the central hole of the cross and close it with a plastic telescopic casing.
Putting the finished cross aside, let’s take hold of the armrests. They are secured with eight screws — four on each side.
The design of the oval holes allows for slight adjustment of the position of the armrests, so it is not necessary to fully tighten the screws at this stage.
After that, it's time to install the backrest. The seat rails are attached to it with two pairs of screws.
After installation, the guides must be covered with decorative plastic covers on thin long M6 screws.
The last four screws are used to secure the swing mechanism. A sticker on the mechanism indicates the direction of installation: the cylindrical knob that adjusts the stiffness should be located closer to the front of the seat.
The final stage is connecting the chair to the cross. According to the instructions, it is necessary to insert the gas lift rod into the corresponding hole in the swing mechanism on the inverted chair. That's how we acted.
After assembly, all that remains is to install the pillows. The lumbar is not attached to the backrest in any way, and the upper needs to be secured to the integrated headrest using an elastic belt with a buckle.

The Assembly and Operation Manual is a thick (70 pages!) square brochure printed on thick glossy paper with excellent printing quality.
The document is compiled in seven languages, including Russian. The Russian-language part takes up seven pages.
The manual contains many color illustrations explaining the process of assembling and setting up the chair, and briefly describes its care.
Management
The AndaSeat Luna chair allows you to adjust the height of the seat, the rigidity of the swing mechanism, the height of the armrests and the angle of the backrest.
The single handle of the TopGun mechanism is responsible for the height of the gas lift. Moving the handle in the horizontal plane turns on and blocks the swing.
The angle of the backrest is set using the lever on the right.
The gear mechanism can move it at an angle from 90° to 160° relative to the plane of the seat.
With the backrest reclined as much as possible, you can comfortably assume an almost lying position. In this configuration it is as stable as in any other position and does not fall back.
The height of the armrests is adjusted using levers on the outside. They can be adjusted within a fairly wide range: from 21 to 28 cm relative to the seat level.
The round knob for adjusting the rigidity of the swing mechanism allows you to adjust the optimal force for tilting the chair back depending on the weight of the user.
Exploitation
The AndaSeat Luna chair has a pleasant to the touch and durable coating that is easy to care for and ensures long-term use. We have already been convinced of the quality of DuraXtra PVC leather by using another model from this manufacturer for almost two years: during this time, the material retained its attractive appearance, despite not always being handled with care.
The casters on the AndaSeat Luna chair are rigid enough to prevent them from rolling away on their own when standing or sitting suddenly. Moving requires a slight effort, almost imperceptible on a smooth surface. The chair can be transported over small thresholds, but higher ones will require assistance due to the weight of the entire structure, especially the steel frame.
The seat of the chair is wide and flat, with moderate lateral support, which allows you to change the position of the body to find the most comfortable position. The sides of the chair are more decorative than functional.
The back support on the sides in the AndaSeat Luna model is excellent. Its elements securely fix the body without additional devices, and for a looser fit, you can use a lumbar pillow. In both cases, it is comfortable to lean back.
The headrest has a limited range of movement, but is comfortable for users between 160 and 180 cm tall, as shown in practical tests. The chair can be used without both covers.
Adjusting the seat height using a gas lift is easy due to its wide range of action. Various backrest positions allow you to change your position without significant distraction from work or play; the backrest is fixed securely, without play. All chair mechanisms operate smoothly and silently.
The rocking mechanism is reliable and provides smooth movement, preventing the chair from tipping over. It is possible to recline with the back lowered, having come up with a footrest, since there is no built-in one. Another option is to change the seat height to place your feet comfortably on the floor.
The force for rocking in the chair can be adjusted using a special handle under the seat, based on the user’s weight.
Wide armrests provide reliable support for the elbows, although they are only adjustable in height. The ability to vary their width provides a fastening that allows you to adjust the spread within approximately 6 cm.
Care
To care for the upholstery of the chair, you do not need to use hard sponges or aggressive products. If cleaning is required, simply wipe with a dry soft cloth to remove dust. In case of more serious contamination, it is recommended to use a damp cloth.
Our measurements
The seat can be adjusted in height from 41 to 54 cm. The back of the chair tilts in the range from 90 to 160 degrees. The armrests rise and fall from 21 to 28 cm above the seat.
The armrests are 8 cm wide and approximately 24 cm long.
The width of the main part of the seat without side support is about 32 cm.

The ergonomic AndaSeat Luna chair will be useful for everyone who spends a lot of time at the computer: gamers, programmers, designers and other specialists. It provides reliable back support and the ability to adjust the backrest and seat to suit the user's height, which is beneficial for the spine and reduces stress on the neck and legs, reducing fatigue. In rocking mode, the chair provides the opportunity for pleasant relaxation.
Compared to older models from this manufacturer, Luna has fewer adjustment options, but all the necessary options are present here: height adjustment, seat tilt, rigidity of the swing mechanism and armrest height.
The chair is available in three colors (with red, blue and black decorative elements), but is available in only one size L, intended for users up to 185 cm tall and weighing up to 100 kg.
The practical and durable DuraXtra PVC leather cover ensures easy care and good durability. We were convinced of its quality after a couple of years of using another model from this manufacturer. The design of the chair is suitable for both home and office use, and it will fit harmoniously into both the office interior and next to your favorite gaming computer.
Among the disadvantages of the AndaSeat Luna, we highlight the limited possibilities for individual customization, the lack of support for the legs in reclining mode, which we really missed, as well as the rather significant weight of the structure due to the use of reliable but heavy materials.
