The AF 24-70mm F2.8 FE lens is optimized for shooting video. In MF mode, you can keep video consistently focused on your subject as you zoom in and out. Because AF speed is carefully controlled during video recording, focus wobble is reduced, so very stable video recording is possible. Linear MF changes linearly in response to focus ring rotation, giving the user the instantaneous control needed for fast, accurate manual focusing. The aperture ring also moves smoothly and silently, providing seamless, silent control for moviemaking.
