In 79 AD, the people of Pompeii, living in the shadow of Vesuvius, suddenly faced the wrath of this volcano. First the earthquake, then the volcanic waste, brought an end to the people of Pompeii, who continued their ordinary lives with their daily rush, financial difficulties, proud positions and dreams for the future. Some of the thousands of people who did not know how to act in the face of a great disaster fled, some tried to escape, some hid in barns in the hope of protection, entered the innermost rooms of their homes and put the objects they could find behind the door, hugged their loved ones, but they could not escape the end that awaited them.
After the accidental discovery of the city that had been buried underground for 1700 years, time that had frozen in Pompeii began to flow again.
