Plasma cutter - 125A - 400V - pilot light ignition
The plasma cutter S-Plasma 125H from Stamos Selection offers sufficient power reserves for cutting thick metal materials using air plasma. Performance and handling are designed for high work progress, as required in professional metalworking. The tailor is equally at home in car workshops as in metalworking companies and industrial production. But also do-it-yourselfers with demanding projects appreciate the cutting power of the S-Plasma 125H.
The Stamos Selection plasma cutter is designed for a professional working environment where work progress and high-quality results count. It works with a three-phase operating voltage of 400 V and saws workpieces from a wide variety of metal materials. This includes both low- and high-alloy tool steels as well as the non-ferrous metals aluminum, copper and titanium.
With a cutting depth of 34 mm, the plasma cutter is just as well equipped for demanding tasks in repair and renovation as it is for efficient use in production. With a cutting width of just 1.4 mm, material loss is reduced to a minimum. The high performance is made possible by the particularly reliable IGBT inverter technology.
At a duty cycle of 60 percent, the cutting current is 125 A. At a duty cycle of 100 percent, a high 96.8 A is still possible. With a working range between 30 and 125 A, the Stamos offers the necessary flexibility in selecting the cutting current. The pilot flame ignition works without contact and is extremely reliable. The compressed air for plasma cutting is set using a pressure regulator. Depending on your wishes and circumstances, you can select the external compressor. This makes the device very flexible and easy to transport.
However, high device performance alone is far from sufficient for efficient work. With a 5 m long plasma hose in combination with the 3 m long grounding cable, the Stamos offers a high degree of freedom of movement. This makes continuous work possible without any problems, even in a larger radius of action.
To achieve maximum work progress on every task, Stamos offers two different working modes. In 2T mode, the torch operates as long as the on/off button is pressed. In 4T mode, a single tap activates the torch and another tap turns it off. This mode offers invaluable advantages in continuous use. The grip position on the torch can be varied during work, reducing signs of fatigue and physical strain.
To prevent damage to the torch or deformation of the workpiece and oxidation reactions after cutting, air cooling continues. The after-run interval can be selected in several steps between 5 and 60 s. The power supply unit is protected against damage with fan cooling and overheating protection.
Operating temperature problems and other faults are indicated via an LED on the control unit. In this frontal, clearly visible area are also the LED display for the cutting current and the cutting current regulator. With a product weight of 33.9 kg, the plasma cutter has enough mass to remain firmly on the ground even in a rustic working environment.
