Our country’s internationally renowned master of humor, our 2014 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (ALMA) nominee Behiç Ak, presents us with a humorous novel that captures the rhythm of the changing lives of children who grew up with “Stories That Make You Smile” and meets them in a new world of emotion and language. When it is necessary for schoolwork, Ali cannot find his ID card, no matter how much he searches and scans it; he applies for a new one. Thus, a surprising truth is revealed: Ali's last name was misspelled as "Hoşgöru¨ç" in the records, with a Ç added to the end. His father is angry, but Ali is very happy with the letter Ç. A single letter will make him a completely different person, and he is already known as "Mr. Ç" on social media and at school.
