Do not iron your rug as high heat can melt and damage the fibres. If you need to remove wrinkles, gently smooth them out by hand. Do not tumble dry your rug.
Do not dry clean your rug as harsh chemicals can damage the fibres. To keep your rug looking its best, air dry it after washing.
Vacuum regularly. Use a regular vacuum cleaner to remove loose dirt and dust from the surface of your rug. Avoid using a vacuum cleaner that washes with water to avoid damaging the fibres.
