The Chinese regulator 3C has listed the yet-to-be-officially-announced SM-A5660 smartphone, also known as the future Galaxy A56. The device is certified with support for 45W (10V 4.5A) charging, a first for the series. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has exactly the same charging power.
For comparison, the Galaxy A55 has a wired charging power of 25W, and the Galaxy S24 has exactly the same charging power. That is, the future mid-range model will charge faster than the current flagship, but not faster than the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which also supports 45-watt charging.
